A Little Bit About Them

Says  It Was Good to be elected as Chairman 2012 -15

“I  have been shooting Field Target for over fifteen years and have  been an active member of TAWD VALE FT & ARC since becoming a member in 2004.

I am new to the NWFTA Chairman & Treasurer taking up the post Treasurers post in Nov 2008.

Carl, also says he endeavours to encourage the sport of Field Target and shooting in the region and  hopefully will grow the North West Membership. Encouraging new members and supporting youngsters and clubs in the region.

I am also the Chairman or Tawd Vale FT & ARC

( BFTA & NSRA Club Instructor) for over 10 years.

Carl Knapper

Chairman & Treasurer

I began FT shooting in 2005 at the age of 15 with a Weihrauch HW97 and have since progressed to a Steyr LG110 pneumatic. During this time I have competed at a local and national level, having won the NW Showdown title twice and represented the North West at the BFTA Inter Regional?s for the past 6 years.

I am new to the post of NWFTA Competition Secretary, having joined the committee at the start of 2012.

Dave Hill

Competition  Secretary

I am still keen to use my organisational skills to help further the future growth of field target shooting in the Region.

I returned to the sport of Field Target in 2013 having had a break of about 5 years. Since returning, I have moved up to A grade and have twice been selected to shoot of the North West at the inter regional competition. I became secretary at the start of 2014. I love getting involved with promoting our sport and help run the NWFTA airgun stand at the Southport Town and Country show
